Now that fall is upon us, we’ve been busy incorporating great fall flavors into our breakfast menu.  While breakfast at the Maine Stay Inn varies greatly from day to day, we try to utilize the freshest products and serving up hearty and nutritious breakfasts with enough variety for all palates.

We're happy to serve breakfast however makes you comfortable!
We’re serving up delicious fall menus!

Our morning menu changes daily, but we usually alternate between sweet and savory entrees.  But don’t worry if you don’t love sweet breakfasts, because even if it’s a “sweet day,” we always include savory sides for plenty of variety and balance.   It is our goal to prepare inventive foods that you wouldn’t have at home, and at this time of year that means things like scalloped apples, pumpkin muffins, or cranberry scones!

Visitors are often concerned that they are going to suffer from “carb overload” at a Maine bed and breakfast, but since we can’t count pastries to get us through the day, we wouldn’t expect you to either.  So even though some of the items on your plate might be indulgent, we want to provide delicious and nutritious breakfasts, including lots of protein sources, fresh fruits, and healthy carbohydrates as well.  But that doesn’t mean that hearty eaters should worry they won’t leave the table satiated.  Homemade vanilla maple granola with dried fruits and nuts is always available in addition to the entree, so you’ll never worry about being hungry in Kennebunkport Maine. This fall, though, we are really spicing up our morning menu with lots of great fall themed items, so you’ll have to stay tuned for some of our new favorite recipes!
